DENTURE SIDE EFFECTS

Posted on June 18, 2018

What happens when you're missing pearly whites? Will you be able to speak suitably? Chew suitably? And how will your other teeth react? Find out by reading on.

Several side effects become present when a patient is missing pearly whites. One of the prime side effects is the inability to enunciate correctly; pronouncing words suitably is much easier with chompers. Difficulty chewing and tooth-crowding are extra side effects. Another side effect is a drop in self-esteem. A number of people have suffered from depression after losing chompers, from a drop in self-confidence and a (regularly) subsequent dip in social interaction. Finally, the aesthetics of the face alter when pearly whites are missing, resulting in droopy cheeks and lips and toothless smiles.

To prep for your appointment to receive false teeth, please ensure you've done the following steps. Be sure to confirm your appointment at least a day ahead of time, and brush and floss your teeth before visiting to save time during the appointment. If you are a new patient, please arrive a little bit early to complete data forms. If you will be receiving sedation, please follow any instructions that Dr. William Forero has given you about preparing. Finally, please be excited! A new, healthier mouth is waiting for you.
